This Mask was made for a performance piece inspired by Max Ernst's painting The Robing of the Bride. The eyes of the mask were made from the bottoms of champagne bottles and the owl's face built up using milliput. I also made a large backdrop for this performance, featuring sphinx-owls which I had encountered in a dream.
