This statue was inspired by the descriptions of Cthulhu in the writings of H.P. Lovecraft. I made this image after a series of group magical workings with Cthulhu. I found Lovecraft's idea of Cthulhu, sleeping in the depths of the ocean, yet reaching out with his dreams to influence artists and writers, a very powerful concept.
